The Grupo Costa & A.Martins has been dedicated to the trade of frozen fish and seafood for over four decades.
EPAlimentar is a family business and part of the Costa & A. Martins group, with its activities focused on the trade of food products.
Founded in 2018, EPAlimentar aims to be a reference in the distribution of quality products in Portugal.
It has daily routes to the Greater Porto region and distributes to other parts of Portugal and beyond.

We are dedicated to the wholesale and retail trade of fish, seafood, vegetables, meat, as well as frozen bakery and pastry products, beverages, canned goods, preserves, and other fresh, dried, and frozen products.
We aim to elevate the company to a prominent position in the Portuguese frozen food market through the development of our human resources, stores, businesses, and especially in the quality and distinction of our services. Our goal is to be the most competitive and efficient distributor of frozen, refrigerated, and other products, generating wealth, and satisfaction for customers and employees, while fulfilling social functions within ethical principles of operation.

Our area of operation covers not only the central and northern regions of Portugal but also other parts of the country, providing an even greater reach for our services. While we have a strong presence and establishment in the district of Porto, especially in sales within the HORECA channel, we are constantly expanding our operations to cater to a diverse client base.
We work with a wide range of clients, including companies distributing frozen food products, cash & carries, cafes, restaurants, schools, universities, social centers, event venues, catering services, hotels, and commercial establishments. Our partnership with these clients is crucial to meeting their specific needs and providing tailored solutions.

our facilities
We have our own facilities with a storage capacity of 700 pallets in temperature-controlled environments (refrigeration and freezing).
Distribution to the HORECA channel is carried out in our own vehicles, properly equipped for this purpose.
